The Python Papers is a free e-journal, including industry and academic articles.
We are proud of the diversity of content in our journal, covering Python User Groups from around the world, conferences and other events, open-source projects and the use of Python in commercial organisations.
The Python Papers (pythonpapers.org, ISSN 1834-3147) is a new ezine aiming to be a community forum. We are hoping to offer a space for people with an interest in Python to read about and interact with other people in the area.
We have identified a few areas where we could particularly do with the help. That said, we would love to hear from anyone who would be happy to give us a hand, whatever their area of expertise or interest. Interested parties may contact the Editor-In-Chief at tleeuwenburg@gmail.com.
Editorial Board : We would love to expand our editorial board. If you are interested in taking on such a role, please contact us and we can get you involved in making the next issue happen!
Website Management : We would like to hear from one or more people who are happy to take on the management of our website. This would include not just the technical aspects, but also ongoing maintenance of the website, including helping to create new documents as needed, respond to web queries etc.
Local Representatives : A representative for each country would be an enormous help, especially in collating contact and web presence information on local Python User Groups and events. It is difficult to keep abreast of the variety of activity around the world. Local assistance here would be a huge help.
Proof Reading : We would like to expand our list of individuals who are happy to proof-read issues of The Python Papers and related documents prior to publication.
Graphic Design: If you have an interest in design, both the website and the journal could benefit from your input! If you are interested in helping with either (or both!) of these documents please contact us and let us know.
